HeiterBlick GmbH is as a co-sponsor of "Klassik airleben" on site this year. On 30 June and 1 July, the popular open-air concerts of the Gewandhaus Orchestra will take place in the historic Rosental park in Leipzig under the direction of Andris Nelsons in summer-like temperatures.
The importance of regional support to HeiterBlick is demonstrated by the many sponsoring partnerships, which are used primarily to support children and young people. This year, however, the long-established Leipzig company is participating for the first time as a co-sponsor in a very special and unique event for the city of Leipzig, the popular open-air classical music festival "Klassik airleben". This summer, for the 14th time, it will take place in the Rosental park in Leipzig and attract fans of classical music, equipped with picnic basket and blanket, in droves to the large meadow.
Intended as a thank-you for the loyal audience during the past season, the Gewandhaus Orchestra rings in the end of the concert season with this spectacle every year. For the last time, the audience has the opportunity to marvel at the world-class percussionist Martin Grubinger, who will end his stage career with a brilliant performance. The audience can look forward to, among other things, the concerto for percussion and orchestra "Inferno" composed for Grubinger by Daníel Bjarnason, as well as Tchaikovsky's Fantasy Overture "Romeo and Juliet" and Stravinsky's Firebird Suite (1919).
Tens of thousands of visitors are expected in the Rose Valley again this year. Already in 2019 it was recommended to come to the venue by bike, bus and the trams made by HeiterBlick.
Families with children are also catered for. The Impuls family area will be open from Saturday afternoon. There they will be invited to "dwarf concerts" and a wide variety of handicrafts. However, the most interesting thing for the little ones will probably be the opportunity to take the instruments of the Gewandhaus musicians into their own hands.
"As a traditional Leipzig company, we have a very special bond with our city. Therefore, it fills us with pride to support such an important cultural event," explains Managing Director Samuel Kermelk. HeiterBlick will be represented on site with its own meadow area and will be available for children and adults.
